Our winery is a special place, where Winemaker Stephanie Stanley creates Canada’s most innovative wine experiences.  It’s a place where people come to awaken the palate by celebrating and learning about the many nuances of wine: growing and tasting, pairing and serving, buying and cellaring.

Reception—Sandhill Estate Vineyard Rosé  2012

*Bright cherry red colour with pure, ripe red fruit aromas of strawberry, raspberry, cherry and crab apple.  This dry, medium-bodied rosé has good structure (soft tannins) and refreshing acidity. Pomegranate, red currant and wild strawberry fruit flavours fill the mouth; and black tea, red berry and cherry with a hint of spice linger on the drying finish.

PAIRING: Duck Breast & Cherry Pizza Cambozola with Rhubarb Chutney

Appetizer—Sandhill Estate Winery Chardonnay 2012

*Clear and bright with a bouquet of red apple, cold butter, tropical fruit, vanilla and almond.
A medium-bodied wine with a slightly rich, almost creamy mouth-feel balanced by refreshing acidity and flavours of  tropical fruit.  The lingering finish has flavours of spiced apple, grilled lemon and a touch of oak.

PAIRING: Grilled Prawn Brochette, BC Mushroom Risotto Croquette with Lemon Cream

Main Course—No. 99 Wayne Gretzky Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah 2012

*Garnet purple colour with a wonderful bouquet of dark plum, black cherry, black current, sweet oak, chocolate and sweet spice . Medium bodied and fruit-forward.  Juicy, fruit flavours of currant, blackberry and cherry fill the mouth. Notes of juicy black fruits, sweet spice and cocoa linger on the finish.

PAIRING:  Roasted AAA Canadian Striploin with Lentil Cassoulet & Yam Fritter

Dessert—Calona Vineyards Sovereign Opal 2012

*Clear and bright with a pretty aroma of tangerine, orange, exotic flowers, lemon drops and tropical fruit. This light bodied wine is refreshing and juicy with the perfect touch of sweetness.

PAIRING: Mandarin Orange Tart, Pineapple Paper, & Almond Brittle

The evening begins with a reception at 6:00pm followed by a gourmet three-course dinner at 6:30pm.
$50.00 + Tax per person for dinner & wine pairings      
$40.00 + Tax for dinner with out wine
